HULSHORST \u2013 Hervormd Hulshorst hoort sinds jaar en dag tot de Hervormde Gemeente van Nunspeet en toch is het een “bijzondere”geloofsgemeenschap. Zij gaan zondags namelijk niet naar de kerk, maar naar de Kapel.
En dat is een mooi en intiem kerkgebouw. Niet voor niets vinden \u2013naast de normale erediensten- steeds meer trouwdiensten plaats, ook van bruidsparen van buiten de gemeente, die de kleinschaligheid van het gebouw bijzonder waarderen.\u00a0\u00a0
Samen met de kapel in Staverden behoort de Kapel in Hulshorst dus tot een geliefde trouwlocatie.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een stukje geschiedenis:
Na een aantal jaren van voorbereiding werd op 20 december 1950 de Kapel in gebruik genomen. De opening vond plaats door Ds. Beerekamp. De bouwkosten bedroegen f.<\/em>80.000,- De kapel werd verwarmd met een op cokes gestookte kachel. Op zaterdagavond werd de kachel aangemaakt door koster Gerrit Reezigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In juni 1951 werd de luidklok van de kapel in gebruik genomen. Daarvoor werd op het kapel dak een klokkentorentje geplaatst. Deze klok was afkomstig van ,Huize Hulshorst\u2019. De inscripties op de klok luiden -vertaald uit het Latijn- ,De naam des Heeren zij geprezen\u2019 en ,Claude Fremy heeft me gemaakt anno 1692\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
